If you decide to see a mountain as a deity, first, you are anthropomorphising an object, second, you are lying, because you made it up. I don't think a childish lie will make life better. I think a lie will always make everything worse.

Furthermore, it is not the individual which would "exploit" the resources that there are, it is mankind as a whole. Calling for mankind to stop doing something in order for yourself to feel good is the usual totalitarian idea.

If you want to "treat each other with more respect", simply treat each other with more respect, instead of developing yet another ideology about how others should behave.

If you want wisdom, develop your own ethics and insight, then you will find peace -- and not yet another call for action for all others except oneself, to "save the world", "make the world a better life", and so on. Make yourself a better person, but without wanting to bullshit yourself with beliefs.

The mountain is a mountain, not a god.
