Relief payment after mailing address change

Mine got sent back because they used my physical address instead of po box so fuck the USPS but I digress.

I emailed them a pic of my drivers license, which has my po box on it, and the last four of my social. I also gave them the date the first check was mailed and my old address. I don't know if it's worked because it hasn't arrived yet but I called them last week and they said it had been re-mailed. I was apprehensive too but it was either that or not get the check.

I think they really want to get the check to you so there may be some configuration of info where you can give them your new address and only send the last four of your social. In any case, if you have to prove you are who you say you are and where you live, there's going to be enough info there to steal your ID. The SSN just makes it easier.

If you're still in Maine, you can freeze your credit reports from all agencies and unfreeze them when you want for free. It's a huge pain but you know what's worse? Someone stealing your ID.
