Honestly, this picture drawing Tabasco is so ridiculous to me, on both sides of the spectrum. On the one hand, first and foremost, the murder of someone for a drawing is unacceptable. All talks of blasphemy aside, fact of the matter is, all forms of vigilante justice are forbidden in Islam. If you live in a country you follow their laws, period. The only exception being if those laws prevent you from following your deen...in which case the first and foremost option is to emigrate, exactly as Muhammad pbuh did. Not to cause chaos and bloodshed. But someone drawing a cartoon does not impede anyone's practice lol, just keep calm and ignore it you twats, like the rest of us.

But that being said, i can't understand how the other side here is so daft about about the nature of the problem here. No one is driven to bloody murder because of the fact that a drawing was made, people are driven to that extreme cus of the content of said drawing. The conversation always centers around how Islam forbids the depiction on prophets. But for some reason, no one considers that it's actually the graphic nature of seeing someone flagrantly assault something someone holds so dear that is leading the latter to violence. For example, seeing Muhammad pbuh drawn as a dog or with snakes for a beard. I'm not saying this offense justifies murder, but what I am saying is 90% of the conversation completely misses the actual problem here in an attempt to frame the issue as "they trynna impose their beliefs on us" when in reality the conflict is much simpler than that.

And as an aside, to the people claiming we regard Muhammad in the same way as Christians do Jesus or that we worship him cus of nomenclature, I invite you to learn more about Islam before making such claims. Quite frankly that argument to me is as weak as "they worship the Black cube cus they pray towards it!!". And finally cus in not gonna make 3 posts, call us whatever you want lol. Mohammedans, Saracens, moors, A-rabs. Don't make a spot of difference, as we will always hold ourselves as 'Muslims'..."those who submit".
