Religious people have no good reason to believe.

What if those people are mistaken? What if what they are calling "Jesus" is just fundamentally the grivlocks at work? We get into a labelling/semantics problem, especially with as nebulous a concept as "God".

Correct. But the place, context, and your initial position you bring them up makes me suspicious of your intent.

As well you should be. I would be skeptical of me, too. We should all be skeptical of unverifiable claims, unreproducible results.
