You know as well as anyone here that OP being openly queer/attending a pride parade would have major personal repercussions for him and others - it is easily inferred from his post that this would cause familial rift and problems for his family within the wider Coptic community. To do so without carefully considering the consequences for himself and his family might lead to a devastating and incredibly burdensome outcome. OP would be unwise to disregard this in the face of your deliberate obtuseness in saying "silence is complicity". OP has already demonstrated remarkable bravery in coming out to his family.

I find it remarkable that your façade of kindness/empathy was entirely dropped in the space of a comment.
