Relocating to Austin area , advice ?

If you don't work in the tech industry Austin is not for you little buddy. Texas in general BARE MINIMUM you gotta be bilingual in Spanish and English to work in construction. There are no construction unions here. You will be competing with construction people who sleep 12 to an apartment. These same people will work for very low wages and they don't give two shits about OSHA safety protocols or whatever so you'd better be on your toes. These are people who are here on temporary work visas or come from small towns where the cost of living is super low so they will work cheaply and never complain. Come on down to Texas if this sounds good to you. Oh and I forgot to mention the high humidity and 95+ degree heat! You're gonna have a blast bro!
