Remember that Emergency Rooms Aren't Walk In Clinics, This is the Wait Time at the Montfort.

I agree with some of your points. Keeping in mind I've worked with US doctors, hospitals and medical workers for over 15 years and the people I see get helped on a daily basis is far more efficient and better quality than anything I've experienced in Canada.

The only negative is obviously the cost of healthcare in US but If you take into account the amount a Canadian is taxed on income compared to in the USA the difference ends up being enough for decent health insurance coverage.

The effective difference being that the US healthcare are in the business of making money. Hospitals, Clinics, Doctors all compete for patients and are constantly innovating and evolving the systems to provide better care. Compared to Canada where the government makes all the budget, funding which usually comes down to pay as little as they can. The best doctors and nurses all end up leaving Canada for US.
