Remember to play the Guiding Lands in multiplayer instead of solo, you get A LOT more lures

You can freely turn the monster as well. Not exactly sure how many times, but you can easily turn it once. You can definitely turn it twice, but may be a little less successful every now and then.

Should note 2 things:

  1. If you clutch claw while it's asleep, in my experience you'll attach the the side of the face that's pointing up, regardless of which angle you throw the clutch claw from. This only matters for monsters that sleep with one side of their face to the ground (like Odogaron and I think Anjanath, for example), and is 100% based on my personal experience so may be untrue, but has also been 100% true for me with no exceptions.

  2. I just posted another comment that addresses that you can actually wake up hit and wall bonk consistently without sacrificing one or the other, as long as you're in a team. This also completely bypasses my previous point, and you can freely choose which side to clutch claw regardless of the monster's sleep position.
