Remembering Botchford today to mark one year since his passing.

because he had a spine and wasn't a pom-pom waiving cheerleader for the team.

Lets not fucking do that, he said some dumb shit and was sometimes a dick and yes all of us are guilty of doing that but we aren't media and no, giving someone credit for saying it in a public forum isn't a thing I subscribe to. So lets not try and spin it like we're all a bunch of sensitive snowflakes that can't handle team criticism.

I think most people are not legitimately stupid and most people are reasonable as we can be those things and still do dumb things and act unreasonable at times, its the beauty of being human and living, we're allowed to not follow some rigid moral path only adhering one line of thinking.

I say this because he sometimes waved those pom-poms and other times did not but to suggest the only reasons we could possibly dislike the guy were because he said some negative things about the team is asinine, I found the guy annoying most of the time there were occasions where I found him insightful and agreed with him and there were qualities I liked about him but overall? nope.

That being said, I wish his family the best and sometimes miss those annoyances.
