Sure. I’m not saying I agree with blackface or saying I don’t think these guys soing blackface aren’t moronic. They are. I’m just pointing out that racism comes in many forms, and ignorance is also one of them. I’m also saying that going full frontal with people who are ignorant is pointless. People have to be smarter. Protesting, violent or friendly, isn’t going to do shit. History has made that clear. We need to educate about racism and do that from the root. We need to make this an integrated part of our educational system. We need to do more than just saying it’s hate because it’s more than just hate, it’s also ignorance!
