Removal should be sorcery speed ONLY

The reason being is it forces more decisions on what you can/should do on your own turn, which is where the game should be.

How is choosing to wait to maybe play a removal spell on the opponents turn not a choice you make on your own turn?
An instant has more decisions than a sorcery. You can still play it on your turn, but you have the additional choice of keeping it up.

Also, why should the game only exist on your turn? It's one of the things that separates magic, even if it were not that good, having something unique about the game is still useful.

There certainly are modern playable modern cards that cost more than 3 mana and are played outside tron.
