Removing harassing subreddits

Running a bully on his own sword is a rarefied pleasure that best satisfies those with a riotous temperament, because if a bully can't handle the point of his own sword it only proves he was just a weak little dick trying to make himself feel big at the expense of someone else all along. It's why seeing them get so upset at being called out is so enjoyable.

Bullying a bully isn't morally superior, no. I do it all the time, though I only do it within the context of his dickery and what his dickery betrays about his psychology - I cut as close to his jugular as I can and that's not okay objectively speaking, because there are better ways to handle assholes, such as ignoring them and depriving them of their audience.

But in a place like Reddit they're going to get their audience, because if there's anything that can be counted on, it's that there's more than one true asshole in the world.

So yes - it is positive and amusing to make someone who was trying to make himself feel big at the expense of someone else feel small in front of his own gang. Yes, that is incredibly satisfying. I'm not claiming it's any more superior to do that in a personal sense, or that it says much for my character personally - I'm not going to speak for others - but I will say that I can sleep pretty well at night knowing that if I have to be angry and confrontational with someone, I'm doing it with someone who thought he was going to smear shit in some stranger's face and no one would say boo to him about it.

Bullying bullies is a psychological delicacy, yes. A bully can help what he is. He doesn't have a medical problem, he wasn't born that way, he doesn't suffer every day because he's a mean little fuck. He's got this misconception that he's so mean and confrontational that no one would dare come up against him and his /r/posse. it's the little things in life, xeromage.
