Renaming of Aurangabad, Osmanabad on agenda: Maharashtra BJP minister Chandrakant Patil

I will also highlight my previous comment then.

Your comment

Those who were keen on Partition voted Muslim League into power. Muslim League heavily won elections in Pakistan and Bangladesh. Moderate Muslims were the outliers.

From wiki

The Congress formed its ministries in Assam, Bihar, Bombay, Central Provinces, Madras, NWFP, Orissa and United Provinces. The Muslim League formed its ministries in Bengal and Sind. A coalition consisting of the Congress, Unionist Party and the Akalis was formed in Punjab

Muslim League didn't win heavily in Punjab nor Sind nor NWFP which form most of Pakistan. Your generalization to say that many Muslims were keen on partition is still wrong.

My point was that this naming business has nothing to do with modern Muslims since they themselves had their ancestors persecuted by Islamic rulers. Your point was that terming Islamic invaders as outsiders was wrong as it alienated modern Muslims, my point was that it has nothing to do with them.

with you on that.

No hypocrisy here.

hmm, there is. I explain it enough already.

saying that Daulatabad is an entirely completely different city from Aurangabad is nitpicking.

Nope, extending an already built n existing city to Daulatabad is just extension of unnecessary insecurity. Like your Westminster example, you don't have to rename it. Marathas captured Aurangabad, they didn't do renamings.

You still haven't explained what Victorian morality is

You can google? SC scraped adultery law on that. here you go https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victorian_morality
