Racists tend to defend racists, sort your life out.
I work in a 60%+ Maori school. I am continuely amazed at the lack of respect showed by these types of Maori, who equate Maori with a brown face, and will sit there and tell me all about the injustice their people faced for being brown, and how I had no clue, then straight up say that there should be only brown faces teaching (their words) at our school and how this is just another example of racism against Maori.
Thing is, I know for a fact I have closer blood ties than her. But I also have a white face, and zero interest in being Maori (mostly for all the reasons raised by the op).
