You may not even need 4k unless the price tag is irrelevant to you. The higher the resolution, bit rate, etc means the more storage (hard drive space) required. And 4k will not do much better than their 5mp cameras.

Again, if money is no option, you can just price out any problem.

Reading over your other comments, if possible give more details on the home without risking any personal information. Maybe a close up of the wall on the outside of the home, type of home (ranch, town house, condo, etc).

I do low voltage installs for side work (I do server stuff from home mainly) and each job presents its own obstacles.

However, PoEis the best way to go. Your home if likely has either a crawl space below or an attic/crawl space above to run wiring, piping, etc.
