Repeat after me: You put the desks there, not the students.

The fire wasn’t caused by the schools heaters, this isn’t a new thing because of the fire. It’s newly enforced because the School probably realized the risk. They’re putting a responsibility on us to make us liable when the inevitable happens. It’s inevitable because there’s literally no way for me to reasonably organize my room for furniture not to be pushed up against the heater. I also find it hard to believe this is a new rule anyway because it seems like a pretty obvious fire hazard. And it wouldn’t be “their” rule. It’s more likely an actual fire code they broke and now are covering their asses on. This is mostly assumptions but regardless I can’t conform to this rule given the space and furniture they provided.
