REPEAT UNTIL THEY (TRUMP) UNDERSTAND: Meeting with Russians is not the issue, LYING about it is.

My boss and I had this conversation earlier today. He said he didn't think that the Sessions thing was too important and that they meet with foreign representatives all the time. I said yeah, they do, but when he lied under oath it became something different. I said it may not be like Flynn, where they were discussing sanctions or something else they shouldn't have been, but when he wasn't honest and forthcoming it makes it hard to believe anything else he says after that. I told him that another problem is that there is a pattern being built. A pattern of them lying about how much they're involved with the Russians.

He voted for Trump but for about the past month now I can tell his feelings have changed. I don't think he is totally off the train, but I can tell his confidence and satisfaction in his performance is very shaken. He gets mad when Trump makes a fool of himself like he did at the press conference, or when he mentions the election, or when he tweets about something petty and dumb which is most of the time. When I told him that Saturday they are having a Trump rally in our city he looked almost sick, "they're having a Trump rally at the fort?..For what?" You can tell that all the stuff from the past month has pushed him away. They're losing him little by little. We have very productive conversations, he's a conservative republican who voted for President Obama in 08. I learn a lot talking to him. It's interesting to watch them alienate him.
