Repertoire problems against 1.c4 and 1.Nf3

It’s up to you if you want to change to a different line, but I’ve had great success with the Classical Dutch and only started playing it this year. Just watched the GingerGM videos, played some blitz, and did a little analysis on my own. Most players I have faced (including 2100+) have no idea how to play against it. With just a little bit of work you will know the position far better than 99% of your opponents, and you will get positions that get you great attacking chances with Black.

Of course, it’s not a foolproof opening either, and it’s not the “best” variation according to the computer. But human chess is a practical game; you don’t have to play perfectly, you just have to beat the person sitting across from you. I think the Classical Dutch is a great way to challenge your opponent from the opening move. I’d give it a try and see if you like it, but if not the Stonewall is a good choice as well, Carlsen has played it from time to time.
