The partnership/individual most certainly will have control on branding/trademarks/usage of all things Ghost, so this is point of discussion and it was mentioned in the lawsuit. Of course they want the past books to see if they're due anything.

When I have time this week, I'll go back through the suit and point out where this is brought up.

And in the meantime, if it wasn't an issue, look at who Simon & Co retained. What's the point of them being back in the partnership? Just To see old books? No, to have control over all things Ghost.

No, this isn't a trademark/copyright/patent infringement case, but commodity produced by this business is an art - both parties have representatives now with experience in this arena. Simon & Co were the first ones to have this sort of representative, I would like to remind you.

As much as people think this is open and shut type of a case, it's not.

And the Swedish courts actually have really, really short deadlines that they operate by. While I don't have Swedish legal experience, I do have legal experience and 14 days really surprised me. Do you know FOR FACT that 14 days to respond was just for this case because it's "just about the partnership"? Do deadlines generally vary from case to case? Or do all types litigation like this have these short, 14 day deadlines?

Have the court denied any of these extensions? Were there any special hearings on these request? Did the Plaintiff's attorney file an objection? Since you're in contact with the courts, I strongly encourage you to ask the clerk of courts if these things have happened OR if they were just granted. If you do ask the clerk these questions, ask them how common extensions are. Ammy Assumption: if they were just granted, especially without being contested, then asking the court more time is as common as I think. And I would certainly doubt Plaintiffs council would object, because guess what happens when want/need an extension.....

You of all people around here are actually in contact with the court handing this matter. I scratch my head why you just don't go to the source and get answers, instead of continuing with these assumptions, which you're mixing your opinion just because you don't like Tobias.

As I said in another post, make yourself a defendant in a lawsuit. Would you want people to say you don't have the right to ask for more time to properly defend yourself against a suit and the court to just say "tough titties. Social media knew, so you did too." Seriously, you guys need to take your blind hatred of Tobias out of the equation and realize what you're saying.

And again, there's a very real chance that what response the defense give and the plaintiffs need to respond to, they may ask for more time, especially if they're given 14 days to respond. And that's a-oh-fucking-kay. Simon & Co. won't be dicks and won't dragging this out. They'll be defending their position.

That's how litigation works, folks.
