Not great meaning the last 2 times I’ve called the non-emergency number for legitimate things the staff sounded like they didn’t care. Like they don’t even want to answer the phone. But my bigger issue might be that CPD doesn’t respond to reports of house vandalism (multiple houses) other than “filing away a police report for insurance reasons”

I didn’t take it as snarky... I just wasn’t sure if an aggressive driver was considered an emergency. I’ve seen some aggressive drivers almost destroy other vehicles - so I thought perhaps 911 was more prudent than non-emergency where I figure they’ll just make a note and that’s the end of it.

/appreciate dispatchers. I spent the day shadowing a fire dispatcher. It was enlightening to say the least.
