Fascists are going to say this isn't true because Ted Cruz may not have read those words out loud to the judge himself. Number one, that's a disingenuous non-argument. It was his case and his legal brief. He was the Inspector General of Texas, and those words were his legal argument.

Number two, words games about which Republican was the most responsible are not remotely the point. This is about what Republicans do with power when they get it. I picked this particular example because it's sex-related, and it was a fun fuck-you to the people who say "nO pOlItIcS iN pORN sUbS". But it's quaint compared to what they're doing now.

200,000 people are dead, 150,000 of which would still be alive if the Trump regime had done its job. 4% of the world's population, 22% of the world's deaths, because of Trump and the Republicans that enable him. The executive branch is breaking laws freely in an attempt to maintain power, the only excuse being "we have the guns so you can't stop us". If they succeed in maintaining power after 12pm on January 20th we will be a dictatorship. We will have both a lawless executive branch and an illegitimate election as a claim to power.

We have one last chance to dislodge them from power, and we're only getting it because elections are controlled by the states, and the regime can't directly tamper with them. That is the thread we are hanging by.

VOTE EARLY. There may be barriers to voting on election day, which is scary to say but that's where we're at. Either vote early in person, or request an absentee ballot, then return it BY HAND to a polling location or ballot drop box. BY HAND.
