Who said people were being judged just because of their skin color? That's the excuse you've injected into the discussion to assist your argument. You would like to believe that the reason there's racism is only for something so menial as skin color, because doing so makes it easy to belittle the argument (this is a common liberal tactic). But racism exists because the differences between two groups of people are much greater than than simple skin tone.

You don't like to recognize this fact, because doing so would have you actually focus on actual issues of group interaction which will make you feel uncomfortable. Actually talking about the real issues, might actually shed some light on perhaps fixing, mitigating or otherwise positively dealing with racism; and doing this will be akin to forfeiting your only card, the only thing that provides assurance that you are fighting the good fight. If it weren't for down trodden minorities, liberals wouldn't have anything to point to and essentially say, "See, I'm the Great White Knight, watch me help these poor hapless souls over here! They live in squalor because of evil racist oppression! Vote Tammany!" Which makes a lot of sense, considering the usual minority groups are usually either just as bad off, or worse than they have been in the past.

But, you still haven't addressed the issue at hand. I know you think judging people by their skin color is "racist", but your answer is simply to say, because racism.. blah blah blah. To me that's not an answer that is very convincing to me.

I thought you would have been a little smarter and tried to claim that immigrants wouldn't be trying to come into America if Americans hadn't destabilized their home lands and via a massive guilt trip Americans should allow a few in. Which is totally crap itself, but hey at least it would show you're thinking about the actual problem rather than defaulting to little magic words you think have an effect on me.
