I agree, and I just want to implore and everyone else to understand that from the civil rights era forward far worse things have happened to the black community at the hands of this government , including but not limited to the assassination of our leaders (Fred Hampton), the extra judicial detention and killing of our fellow black citizens (Chicago black sites, Philando Castile et many al, and the unconstitutional summary denial of our basic rights (stop and frisk, voter ID laws), and even our largely peaceful protests have been painted by a broad spectrum of Americans as disruptive, unnecessary, anti-American, and criminal. If this is something you are willing to smash a Starbucks window or block a highway for, be prepared for large swaths of Americans, even those who agree with your basic premise, to completely turn against you and start labeling you the problem.
