Considering the impact and death toll we've seen since 9/11, which has vastly dwarfed the initial attack I don't think we should dictate how we discuss this based on New Yorkers feelings, sorry it's still in your mind but the discussion is global now. It was a horrible attack, it was also a single incident in what is now almost 2 decades of actual fucking war where civilians die every single day. The narrative didn't stop in time.
