Republicans roll out “tidal wave of voter suppression”: 253 restrictive bills in 43 states

COVID relief was one of the very first things they brought to the floor. It literally just passed the house (without a single Republican. bOtH sIdEs).

The republicans wanted relief to be a quarter of the size. Democrats wanted 2000 to be distributed back when they gave out 600, so now they are adding 1400. 600 + 1400= . . .

“Lack of action” my ass. They had to put the relief bill through reconciliation to avoid the senate filibuster. They also had to fight tooth and nail with DINOs like Manchin, who would not have supported a $15 minimum wage. So they were fighting to even get a simple majority.

Do you want to tell us any more about “wHaT yOu wErE tOLd?”

Edit: and that’s on top of the other landmark bills they are trying to push through, like the Equality Act. LaCk of AcTiOn hurrr
