Republicans side with Deomcrats to block Trump's billions of dollars worth of arm sales to Saudi Arabia

I don't mean trillions per year, just trillions period. The US sells several billions of dollars' worth of weapons every year, averaging around $10 billion/year since WWII. 73 times $10 billion = $730 billion, just since 1945. We do not have reliable estimates of the sales before and especially during the world wars, but we very clearly reached at the very least one trillion.

Who says that the alternative is much worse? Americans, and who else? You guys see yourselves as the good guys, but from the point of view of the entire world and history at large, you're the bad guys of our era. It's like hearing Hitler say "Well, we need Germany to rule the world, because if we don't France will, and the alternative is much worse," and expecting that statement to stand on its own and be self-evident. It's not. We're reaching a point where the US war crimes, constant invasions of weaker nations and that annoying habit of overthrowing elected leaders and replacing them with dictators to stir war all over the world gets too much. At some point, the entire world will happily back China if that means getting rid of the USA.
