As a PhD student in chemistry I would strongly advise you to stay away from Morrison. His group is looked down upon by a lot of people here. They have a reputation for not working very hard and he has multiple grad students that took longer than the normal time to graduate, his graduates work at UGA or for his company because they can't land jobs elsewhere (though I guess that isn't super relevant to undergrads)

I would recommend joining a group where you have a shot to work under a graduate student and potentially get authorship on a paper. Research experience is good when you apply for jobs or grad school, but having a paper to show for it will put you ahead of the pack- even if you're 3rd or 4th author.
