I'm sorry but the melee players were hating on brawl like within a month after release. Look at fucking mew2king's post on gamefaqs a day after release. I remember a lot of people just playing it just to milk it for money. EE fucking told me this at a tournament I went to back in like 2009 or whatever year brawl came out. Melee will die only when a smash game is released that mimics its movement and combo mechanics again. Zero fucking hated smash 4 and has trashed it on his stream multiple times. That's just my response to the first couple of lines in Salem's post. There is just so much wrong in it and I'm way too drunk and lazy to handle it all.
