[Research] Vitamin C Before&After 1yr

Thanks for taking the big risk to say this! I know there will be people who will downvote you.

It is true that the evidence around topical Vitamin C is weak for the type of claims and expectations.

And even though I continue to try some of them, I personally haven't since much benefit or difference at all after using Tret and/or Taz daily for over two decades and keeping a nutritious diet. I also use it on parts of my body sometimes after swimming (fun fact: did you know topical vitamin c is often used by swimmers after chlorine pool swimming?) and don't see any difference that sunscreen hasn't done. It's anecdotal but aligns with the research of younger volunteers with optimal plasma concentration of C. But then something else to add is that I use the Skinceuticals C E Ferulic serum after microneedling and laser sessions which is also a time I take a break from retinoids for about a week before and a week after.
