US residents of Reddit: How will the repeal of the Affordable Care Act affect you...positively or negatively?

I had cancer 6 years ago and underwent a bone marrow transplant to live. One of the side effects is a condition called chronic graft vs host disease. Which means my immune system is constantly att odds with every cell in my body. Through medication and therapies my doctors have the condition well controlled. However, I get an occasional flair up which can manifest in a thousand different ways. Most recently my tear glands were attacked, so I have extremely dry eyes and I require lots of appointments with an eye doctor. The point is, pretty much anything that happens to me in the future could be attributed to having gvhd. So if I need a hip replacement when I'm 70 they could say if the osteoporosis is a result of gvhd. If the preexisting condition language from the ACA goes away so does any chance if me getting insurance. And I know for an absolute fact that I'll have more issues in the future. It's inevitable given my treatment and track record. I will have no choice except to find a way to become declared disabled so I can hopefully get some kind of state assistance.
