Respondus / LockDown Browser. I've never used these before, how do they work / what do they look for?

How it works is going to depend on the program but most programs have video walkthroughs, and there are actually a bunch of videos on youtube now made by professors showing how specific programs work.

Getting up to go pee, yes. Often this wouldn't be allowed in a regular test either. If there's a medical condition that makes you need to go more often, you can get accommodations -- otherwise, really not a lot can be done. This would actually be a big nono, because nobody knows whether you quickly ducked out to google some on your phone or something.

Son running in, yes. But when they review the video, they'll see what happened and it shouldn't be a problem.
