In response to Bioshock Infinite criticism (Mild spoilers)

[End game spoilers]

I really saw the alternate universes as a cop-out similar to the widely hated “it was all just a dream” endings

The plot holes really bothered me. So they made the story about alternate universes with infinite possibilities and yet all of these universes apparently began with booker during the baptism

And once they killed him in the baptism, that was it - the end of every existence of Booker/Comstock and Columbia with it despite infinite universes where every other person would have been the prophet and founder of Columbia

And the way they forced it was with “constants” such as booker always flipping heads

It’s almost like they came up with this story and went back and put bandaids on it to make it work

I’m a sucker for good stories, but this wasn’t it
