In response to the Jewish Labour group raising concerns about antisemitism "Can't fix what doesn't exist."

Once again, any possible antisemitism is wrote off by invoking the 'criticism of Israel is the only time the left criticise Jews'. Of course valid criticism of Israel isn't antisemitism, this doesn't mean antisemitism doesn't occur nor are there underlying elements of it - you wouldn't deny Islamophobia existed and if someone used the same argument you'd rightfully dismiss it.

And concerning good old Ken, if I remember correctly he made that comment defending Naz Shah making jokes about the relocation of Jews. Even if you want to say it isn't antisemitic, it's incredibly crass, tasteless and disgusting comment for a politician to be making and does make you wonder why somebody would make such a comment and why people in their droves would turn out to defend it instead of condemning it as a shitty comment.

If somebody said to deport all of the Muslims and Tommy Robinson turned around and said Muhammad was a pedophile, rapist, murderer and took sex slaves - he'd be completely right but I doubt people would be defending him and saying he wasn't islamophobic as they do with Ken and you are doing right now.

Do you believe there's an issue with antisemitism on certain parts of the left? Do you believe it's possible? This is the core of the issue.

Just saying ‘yeah, we should tax the wealthy a bit more to provide for better public services’ really isn’t the return of Stalin.

I didn't say it was.
