In response to the one guy who said he wants 16/17 back: We have more points now than we had at this point that season.

To be fair, those first 8 results in 16/17 included a convincing 2-0 win against City (H) and a draw against Liverpool (A).

Aside from a United team who (at the time) had been performing well behind expectations and being embarrassed left and right, our opening fixtures in the Prem this season have been very forgiving, considering our current homeless status. But inconsistent performances across the board is a better indication of our form than the results.

We have a good foundation so far, despite our performances, but we need to improve if we want to maintain it throughout the season and mount a real challenge for a CL spot otherwise we're going to be punished.
