Rest in Peace Peter Mayhew.

These 2 figures have a lot of sentimental value. This Han Solo was the first action figure I ever purchased by myself as a kid, and my first modern SW figure. I had only a few old Power of the Force 2 figures that my mom bought for me as younger kid. A few months after I got Han, I remember telling my mom I wanted more Star Wars figures for Christmas that year, she asked me to make a list of characters I wanted. I told her the one I wanted most of was Chewbacca, because "Han and Chewie are best buds" and because Chewie is my favorite character. I was so excited that Christmas, got Chewie and a few other figures. I was around 12 or 13 at the time, I was in middle school where kids told me I was 'too old to play with toys'. But damn I played with these 2 all the time, especially in the snow, Han and Chewie going on adventures on Hoth. These 2 figures kept me company during rough times in middle school where I was bullied alot and depressed. I got through some bad days at school just remembering that after school I'd be free to go on adventures with Han and Chewie. Fighting Lego robots I made, trying to find treasure in the jungle planet that was my backyard. They kept me interested and invested in action figures and 10 years later I'm still enjoying this hobby. Part of that was thanks to Peter Mayhew, you will be missed.
