Restaurant servers, what is the most fucked up thing your table has done to try and get free stuff?

I worked in a fairly exclusive members-only place for a few years and the majority of them were great. I still keep in touch with a handful. But there was one woman, who was a member merely because the store she worked in, which was below the club, dealt with a sewage leak due to the club's negligence, so they gave the affected employees free memberships, and she just kept renewing hers. She was a gold-digging type, and would always order water or the cheapest drink she could and nurse it at the bar until someone else showed up, then switched to the champagne or whatever it was she really wanted once she wasn't responsible for the bill. Real classy broad. In this - her worst- example, she had arrived early in the day with some friends, and ordered a bottle of Sauvignon Blanc by the number in the wine book, the server retrieved and presented the bottle, announced the region, vineyard, grape, and vintage, which she okayed, and proceeded to order 4 more bottles as the day progressed. When I arrived for my shift, she asked for the fifth bottle and I checked her tab, brought the bottle, presented and got the okay and moved on. When the bill came she flipped her shit about the price. The bottle she ordered was somewhere in the $160 range, and then all of a sudden she claimed she ordered the one just BELOW it in the book, which was $85. Riiiight, even though you specified the bin number and visually confirmed the wine five times. So the manager caves and gives her a sixth bottle, only charging her the price of her "intended" wine. While all of this is happening, she's announcing left and right, very loudly, how embarrassed she is and so insulted, and has never been so mistreated in her life, just atrocious, ridiculous, and on and on and on. Thankfully, I wasn't blamed. Perhaps the initial server got some flak, I don't recall... BUT the next time I was behind the bar, I retold the story to the bartender, who recognized it right away, because SHE HAD DONE THE EXACT SAME THING a week prior. Such a bold-faced cunt.

I really disliked her.
