Restless Legs Syndrome is getting out of hand, afraid of falling asleep

Sounds dreadful.

As an RLS sufferer I have had some of my aches move into my dreams, but usually the symptoms wake me up.

No cure, but a few treatment options. If you look online and in Reddit it is mostly directed at taking a variety of drugs, which are not without complications. Some try different supplements, and others like me, treat it as a physical condition which is a challenge but can lead to some great successes.

I know that anxiety before sleep too well. I will suggest a few things to try and if they help, you can DM me and I will go into more details. The first thing is not to move when you have symptoms and study what they are, then get in a position, fetal is probably best, and place your hand on the area of the symptoms and try to feel them. You should have your symptoms change and sometimes stop.

Also get a 2lt water container, actually you will need 2 on rotation, and fill them with water and freeze them. You can place the ice on the symptoms, behind the knee with your legs straight, or at the top of the back of the thigh to target the sciatic nerve.

Good luck.
