I more think the word "disgusted" is a bit too much, it's a bit black and white. Also maybe i'm wrong, but i interpret homophobic as the hate for homosexual people. If two gay men were making out in front of me, i wouldn't be disgusted as if someone was shitting in front of me, and i wouldn't think anything of them being together, have an issue with it, or anything like that. Hate gays, don't think they should be able to marry, adopt etc. I would however feel more uncomfortable with it than if it was a straight couple. I don't really know how to explain it, or why, i guess it's just because "i don't like seeing it". That doesn't mean they shouldn't be allowed to or i am against it in any way shape or form. The only thing i can compare it to i guess is that when other men are naked in the lockeroom, i look away. I don't have an issue with males or naked men, i just don't really like looking at it. I think many men feel some variation of what i just described while not being homophobic (the hate of homosexuals), but still wouldn't feel comfortable seeing it, but not being 'disgusted'.
