Resume Review

So this is more based on what my mentors and hiring managers have told me.

The first thing hiring managers look for on a resume is your education portion. They want to see your school, major, year, and GPA. You have that portion but tucked in the middle of the resume. Bring it up to it's the first thing they see and not that block of text on the top left.

I'm really not sure of objective portions are really necessary, as I don't have one on my resume. I still got call back for interviews. The placement on it doesn't seem bad here though.

Put your email and phone number up top with your name. Last thing hiring managers will want to do is having to scan through your email to look for it in an obscure location.

Skill portion looks good. Projects are also good.

Depending on what is on the job description, you should be tuning the resume to suit that requisition. Pick out key phrase/words and make sure they are present in your resume. Unless your resume goes through the system and has enough hits through an automated process, it will never reach a hiring manager.
