Excellent. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. We really do need to start organizing to come up with a tangible game plan. Some ideas I have:
-A core set of ideals that ALL Americans can get behind in order to counter mass polarization -Crowd-sourced fundraising -Crowd-sourced alternative media (accountable to the citizens) -Creation of citizen-duty (like jury-duty) that can blow the whistle on government waste, fraud, and abuse with transparent investigations and outcomes -Creation of a powerful grassroots 'Education Campaign' which seeks to inform Americans about decades of policy decisions that have led to our current circumstances -Creation of a platform that allows citizens to be involved in their community at every level. The platform must be open-sourced, encrypted, and decentralized. I envision this platform as the be-all, end-all for organization. Among other things, this platform would: -Facilitate community organizing and support (local sharing economy, ads for work, community service, recreation) -Inform all users on the state of affairs of their local, state, and federal government, show unbiased viewpoints for arguments in favor and against resolutions -Provide a platform for discussion, much like Reddit, unsusceptible to manipulation -Provide information to the citizens regarding their politicians. Citizens should be able to find their local, state, and federal elected officials and their viewpoints on all positions -Allow citizens to connect with one another as a social platform
