Outlook 2007 is NOT old AT ALL. For the uses of our TYPICAL user base the capabilities of Outlook 98 (yes, from the year 1998) as far as Internet email does all that newer version do.

The evolution of Outlook was driven by the corporate email world. Integration with the newest features offered in the corporate standard email server called "Exchange" was their goal. Said differently: everything added to Outlook post '98 was work big corp IT and not Joe and Mary home user to send jokes and recipes to their friends (98.5-100% true). There are a rare few features added over the years to Outlook for it to 'catch up' to Freeware email programs and Microsoft's own Outlook Express email client that was just pulled; its tenure started with Windows 98. I have the Internet Explorer CD's with version 1 of it, any takers?

OK, enough rambling from this old guy, an email geek since 1994 (or earlier if you could the TeleType network in '75) oh, yeah, the important part....Microsoft Server Beta Team member for Exchange 5.0, Exchange 5.5, Exchange 2000, Exchange 2003 and Exchange 2007.
