Reuters: Gun Control Did Not Prevent Alleged Shooter Killing 6 in Germany

Guns were first and foremost designed to kill, or neutralize something that the shooter no longer wants to be alive. To say otherwise is horseshit. I’m 2A all the way. I’m a former infantry dumbshit, I love guns, I love machines, everything about them, so we are in agreement in regards to owning them.

While you certainly can use your weapon for sport, it’s still a weapon. The very purpose of that tool is as you say, to harness the energy of an explosion to launch a projectile at range, was not invented for sport. Plinking, practicing, it’s still designed to accurately send that projectile into a target, you simply have decided the target is paper or steel rather than flesh and bone.

There are a multitude of things you can do with a firearm. There’s a reason the 2nd amendment exist and it has nothing to do with sport. If they weren’t designed to be a lethal threat, then they wouldn’t be much use to stave off a tyrannical govt or any other oppressor.
