The women involved were likely coached, one was a conservative talk show host who didn't bring it up until a decade after it happened, and that was "an unwanted kiss", which isn't the same as being forceful. There was zero investigation done and Kirsten Gillibrand wanted to use Franken as an example of "believe all women" to further her own political goals.

So then do we also ignore the accusations against Brett Kavanaugh or Trump? Of course not.

Are those ones ok because they're against people you don't like?

These women often have very little to gain and much to lose coming forward like this.

I'll assume you've never been a victim of any sexual assault, I have. Was almost 30 years ago and I've never said shit about it publically. I'm content to leave the shit head to his devices while he leads his life of mediocrity. If it were to come to pass that it looked like he was heading into a position of power over me or others that contentness would evaporate.
