Gotcha. I mean. People of color (especially Black people) HAVE been leading discussions regarding their experiences with racism for at least a century. Their work is how I've been able to do my own anti-racist work. They can't then make white people reflect on those experiences to the point white people reflect on their own behavior that contributes to racism. White people aren't doing their portion of the work to make these issues non-existent. They'll even go as far as claiming they, themselves (as white people), suffer from racism. White people would rather point to faceless systems (they built and control) as a way of escaping responsibility. Only white people can fix that. The onus is not up to people of color to solve racism.
