| Review - After a Year of Use | AAA White Cement 3, AAA Green Glow 4, NikeRoshe Run

  • TL;DR - Buy whatever the fuck you want. I bought AAA, and a year later, i'm super happy with them.

Whats up everyone. Loooooong time lurker here that finally decided to sign up. I've been following the rep game for about a year and a half, way before sneakerahead was a thing, before repsneakers, and all of that. I lurked through the turmoil of sneakerreps, wasco, thompson, all all that. Anyway, the reason why I decided to finally sign up is because I have seen many, many, many people ask about AAA, and only receiving responses like "don't do it. They will explode as soon as you step foot in them". Well, here are my AAA shoes, after a year of wear.

Let me preface this by saying I knew what I was getting into. I know AAA are really looked down upon here on /repsneakers, and I understand why. They have their obvious flaws. Shape, color, material, and overall construction can be a bit off, or completely wrong. I didnt set out to get the most accurate reps in town. And no, I was not Bait-and-Switch'd. I simply liked the look of many sneakers, but I'm not down to drop $150-$300 on a pair of shoes. Knowing they will not be on point compared to their retail counterparts, $50 sounds a lot better for me. These reviews are for those people who are not exactly interested in getting the most on point pair of shoes available. For that, go get your SMP and UA. I'm noticing lots of people asking a lot of questions about this quality shoe, so here you go.

I ordered these three pairs off of footwearlocker.net back in February 2014. That was David's website before sneakerahead and sneakeradd were a thing. They were my first pair or reps ever, and to this day, I am completely happy with them. The photos in the album were taken this evening, a few hours before I posted this. I did no cleaning to the shoes before taking pictures. I simply took them from my shoe rack, and snapped the photos. The flaws on the shoes are evident. The WC3's have the high elephant print, smudged elephant print, shoddy toungue stitching, sole "jordan" is wrong, amongst other things. The Green Glows toebox is off (seems to bulbous to me), and the material is wrong. The laces were originally black (I lost one somehow, and had some grey ones lying around that I swapped in). The Roshes have a glossy -ish swoop, and the loops on both the tongue and the back are the wrong size.

With that said, all three pairs are COMFORTABLE. Moreover, as you can see, the shoes have held up great. I wear the Jordans twice, maybe three times a week each. The Roshes get a lot of wear also (i used them to work on my car yesterday, which is why they have some dark stains on them). I am a preschool teacher, and wear these to work, so they get exposed to lots of shit (not literally, but you know what I mean). No, they are not spot on compared to retails, but they look good to me. I wear them everywhere (Los Angeles, Santa Barbara [UCSB], Las Vegas, New Jersey/New York), and have gotten many compliments. No one has said shit about them being fake. I've learned that 98% of people just notice the shoe for what it is - a Jordan shoe. The sneakerheads that know their shoes can surely tell they are replicas, but no one has said shit to me.

I have never seen anyone review a shoe after a year of wear, so hopefully this helps some people. All in all, buy whatever the hell you want to buy. Know what you are paying for. Know that if you do go with AAA, they will not be identical to retail. They will look the part, and they will feel good on your feet (maybe not as solid as a real pair, but I really cannot complain). The soles will not fall off as soon as you start walking, and they will not burst into flames if you start power walking in them.

I have AAA Bel Air 5s, Perfect Infrared23 6s, WTK 6, Air Mag 90s, AAA White Grape 6, and AAA Hare 7s on the way. I will review those by the end of this month!

PS - Shoutout to my replica AAA David Plant chillin in the back of all the pics.
