A review of his Cleveland show last night...

As ridiculous as this might sound to grown-ass adults, I just think that seeing Bill live is more "electrifying" as The Rock used to say back in the day.

I saw him do pretty much the same set and material for Walk Your Way Out in Europe about a year or so before it was released on Netflix and I laughed my fucking ass off at his live performance. It was a lot rougher around the edges, and there was a lot more off the cuff interaction with the crowd, so it was one of the best live shows I've ever seen.

The weird thing is, I went to see Louise CK perform '2017' just a few months later, and that was even better live. Both 2017 and Walk Your Way Out have been considered lackluster by fans, but I absolutely loved them live.

However, hands-down, the best comedy show I've ever seen was Bill doing random material a few years ago. It was stuff I had never heard of (not even on the podcast as far as I can recall), and it featured him just shitting on everything he could think of and up to that point had seen in his trip to Europe. It was the best laughter I've had in my life up until this day.

Conclusion: Billy always slays live.
