Absolutely atrocious review. Again, boils down to the same thing. "Ew icky girls."

I'm a straight white dude old enough to remember the golden age of gaming in the late 90's, and I'm going to have to say that I'm getting pretty fucking sick of straight white dudes in gaming. Everywhere I look I see examples of people sharing my demographic behaving like complete manchildren because they can't have their games the way they want it to.

None of the reviews slamming Youngblood actually slam it on the gameplay front. In fact, some of the reviews are barely reviews at all. SkillUp spent all of three minutes covering gameplay that he actually admitted was fine and competent, before he launched into a tirade about the sisters.

How sexually immature are straight white men? At this point, I feel like it's a question that deserves asking. Do I belong to an entire group of people that's just always had it their way and never felt the need to have a look over on the other side to see who else needs accomodating? Are we the English speakers of humanity sexuality?

Heaven forbid that a developer try to tell a female-centered story that isn't written exactly like late 90's Tomb Raider, because straight white dudes are going to come crawling out of the fucking woodworks in drives to shit all over it on Youtube. In Wolf II TNC it was Grace, here it's Soph and Jess that are the subject of dudebro rage.

I say, good on Bethesda, good on MachineGames, and good on Arkane for making this the way they did. Let the dudebros flail and cry like the children they are. Keep making games like this, keep triggering the snowflakes.
