The symbol at the top of the mural is not a UFO. It is a symbol for the Sun and therefore, a symbol of illumination. There is also duality there, as it can take on the dual meaning of representing the UFO. However, there is more to the symbol than it merely representing the UFO, as I said. This symbol also represents the clues found in Paleto Bay. These locations are merely the starting point in finding the answers to the actual symbol--not the meaning of the symbols themselves. For instance, the hamburger sign in Paleto, along with all the Egg clues only serve to reveal the nature of these symbols and what they mean.

The glyph symbols, (the circle with the dot, and 3 lines) represent the same thing, as they are the same symbol as the Eye on the mural. It should be referred to as the 'Eye', as that's exactly what it is.

The UFO on the left side of the mural represents the two UFOs that are related. The two X's on the left of the mural above the UFO represents the underwater UFO and the 'Alien Camp' UFO. The Chiliad UFO is merely a hologram of the one above the camp. One of the reasons the glyphs at the Hippy Camp are mirrored on Chiliad is to show this relation between the two locations, and the UFOs.

The designer made duality possible by giving each symbol on the mural a dual meaning. The X's not only represent the 5 glyphs, but the 5 locations pertaining to each large box at the left and right of the mural (jetpack & UFO). Those locations are necessary in understanding the story of those 3 boxes, and ultimately the mystery. As I said in the first point, the Egg also has a location tied to it, that being Paleto Bay, and the clues found there. So, while some symbols on the mural hold two meanings, some actually hold three--one being the actual meaning of the symbol, and the others being the necessary clues in getting to that answer.
