Rewatching movies from your childhood and noticing new things

This is not exactly what you’re asking but...When I was a kid, I was convinced the Barbasol canister from Jurassic Park would be used in a sequel. In 1997, when The Lost World arrived, I realized I was wrong.

Years later, I’m watching the special features for one of the Jurassic movies and Spielberg is interviewed. He says he intended to use the Barbasol for a sequel and deliberately placed that shot in JP to set up the sequel but then the script went in another direction. So I guess I wasn’t wrong in a way?

Off topic but he also said if they ever do JP4 (JW wasn’t a thing yet) he’d bring back Richard Attenborough (RIP!). There is a statue of him in JW thankfully and he’s in Fallen Kingdom. He’s also in multiple Jurassic Park video games.

Edit: I also didn’t get the “do you think he saw us” joke that Tim told in JP until much later in life.

Edit 2: fixed typos
