Rey won't enter the Pantheon of great film heroes; and some thoughts on Good Will Hunting

Even the plot feels like a filler episode of a tv show

takes place immediately after last one boring subplot of a slow speed chase that for whatever reason relies on fuel. When was fucking fuel ever a thing in star wars? even more boring subplot where the black lead who was an important part of the last episode is sidlined to a futile sidequest with an annoying character disregards or gives a half assed answer to previous plot threads still feel like characters havent grown or accomplished much. Ren is still evil. Rey is still perfect. Poe learns to... listen to orders? Finn has an arc but its executed in the worst way posible.
